However, given the large number of services available and the rapid introduction of new ones, it is impossible for customers to keep track of them all. It is even harder for SMS based services to get noticed and used by these customers.

SMSBook™ is a free application that runs on mobile handsets and provides the following features:

• searchable directory of services,
• detailed information about each service
• integrated texting (Android phones) or link to native texting application (iPhones)
• automatic database update

SMSBook™ provides two flavors of listings:

• Deluxe listing provides extensive information about a service with separate screens for each command/keyword option that include examples. These services are listed under their respective category (search, entertainment, ...) on the start screen when SMSBook loads, and are immediately visible to customers.
• Basic listing provides information about the service on a single screen. These services are listed under the searchable Short Code Directory. This directory displays services in an alphabetic order.

Phones running SMSBook™ can automatically check for and download an updated database on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. This makes it easy for new services to become visible to everyone running SMSBook™ on their handsets in a timely manner!

SMSBook™ is available for the iPhone and Android phones (like the T-Mobile G1).

Services who register with us, can securely edit their information in the database.
